Keady Basketball Classic Tournament Information

The Ellinwood Eagles Boys Basketball team start off tournament play on Monday, Dec. 08 against the Macksville Mustangs at 4 p.m.

The Eagles beat the Macksville Mustangs 53-46 on Monday to move onto a matchup against the Larned Indians on Friday at 8 p.m.

The Eagles lost to the Indians of Larned.  They will face the Spearville Lancers at 4 p.m. for 3rd place in the Keady Basketball Classic.

The Eagles lost 38-57 to Spearville in a close battle for 3rd place.  St. John Tigers were the champions of the Keady Basketball Classic.

The Ellinwood Lady Eagles will start off tournament play for the week on Monday, Dec. 8th against the Macksville Mustangs at 2 p.m.

The Lady Eagles defeated the Macksville Mustangs 51-17 on Monday and will take on the Kinsley Coyotes on Friday at 6 p.m.  The Eagles were led by junior Delaney Beckwith with 17 points and senior Rachel Doll with 16 points.  

The Lady Eagles defeated the Kinsley Coyotes Friday night.  They will take on the St. John TIgers at 6 p.m. for the Championship game of the Keady Basketball Classic.

The Lady Eagles are the 2014 Keady Basketball Classic champions.  Ellinwood wound up beating the St. John Tigers 48-36.  Rachel Doll, Delaney Beckwith and Blake Wilt were named on the all-tournament team, while Doll received MVP honors.  Doll also broke the tournament single game scoring record against Kinsley with 33 points and tied the school record for most points in a game.  Beckwith also tied the school record with 7 blocked shots.  The Ellinwood Lady Eagles won the 2013 Keady Basketball Tournament.
